How does Seasonal Closet Work?
We pick up your off-season clothing, store it in climate-controlled facilities, and return it during designated seasonal swap windows. Two full seasonal swaps are included each year, with additional off-cycle returns available as needed.
What items can I store?
You can store folded clothing, hanging garments, shoes, and accessories. Items should be clean, dry, and appropriate for climate-controlled storage. Oversized or non-clothing items may require approval.
How much fits in a storage bin or rack?
Each 27-gallon clothing bin holds as much as you’re able to fit, typically accommodating 20–30 folded garments depending on thickness. Hanging racks hold approximately 10–15 garments, and shoe bins fit 6–12 pairs, depending on style.
When are seasonal swaps scheduled?
Seasonal Closet includes two designated swap windows each year:
- Spring Swap: March 15 – April 30
Fall Swap: October 1 – November 15
These swaps are intended for full seasonal wardrobe rotations.
Can I access my items outside the seasonal swap windows?
Yes. Off-cycle returns and restocks are available year-round and are priced based on turnaround time. These requests are ideal for travel, weather changes, or special occasions.
What is Digital Cataloging?
Digital Cataloging provides a photo inventory of your stored items with searchable, on-demand visibility. It also allows you to request specific items without retrieving an entire bin. Digital Cataloging is billed $50 per scheduled seasonal swap.
Is my clothing insured while in storage?
Yes. Stored items are protected while in our care. Coverage details and limits are outlined in our Insurance & Item Care policy.
Do I need to be home for pickup or delivery?
In most cases, no. We can coordinate access instructions in advance. Our team works with you to ensure a smooth, discreet experience.
What areas do you service?
We currently serve clients throughout the Tri-State Area, with a primary focus on:
Westchester County
New York City
Long Island
Fairfield County
Bergen County

Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. Seasonal Closet requires a minimum of two storage units (any combination of bins or racks), or a $50 monthly minimum, to ensure service quality and efficiency.
Do you offer a fully customized or concierge service?
Yes. Our VIP offering, The VIP Closet, provides fully customized storage and concierge-level service. VIP Closet plans are available for clients with monthly plans starting at $300.
